- Trailer and Superlink Coupling Audits: For long-haul freight operations, the EYE Beacon serves as a wireless trailer identifier. As soon as a truck tractor hitches a trailer or a superlink combination, the cab's tracking device detects the unique beacon IDs. This automates trailer inventory logs, prevents unauthorized trailer hookups, and eliminates manual paperwork errors.
- Proximity-Based Immobilization & Driver ID: The beacon can be assigned to authorized operators as a rugged key fob. When paired with the telematics unit's remote immobilization relay, the truck or yellow plant machinery will refuse to start unless an authorized driver's EYE Beacon is detected within the cabin radius, offering a hands-free layer of anti-theft security.
- Asset Location Tracking via Crowdsourcing: Because the beacons constantly broadcast their encrypted signal, any beacon-equipped fleet vehicle passing nearby can pick up the transmission.
